Britney Spears Dances Topless After Elton John Collab: 'Evil Mermaid Vibes'

Britney Spears has shared a video of her dancing topless just days after the release of her musical collaboration with Sir Elton John.

The 40-year-old pop star has deleted her Instagram account but took to Twitter to share her latest dancing video, which shows her dancing and walking around in just pink bikini bottoms and high heels, with her breasts covered by her new long locks.

"First time having really long hair !!!" the star wrote in the caption. "It's different ... serving evil mermaid vibes I guess 🧜‍♀️ 🤔😉 except I have legs 😏 !!!"

Spears added: "Pss too hot to go outside bored as hell 🙄 !!! Psss this is not a hair commercial 🤭 !!!"

In the video, Spears is dancing to the 1995 song "Water Runs Dry" by Boyz II Men.

Until recently, she lived under a strict conservatorship, with all of her personal and financial decisions controlled by her father, Jamie, 70.

After a tumultuous year of court drama, the "Toxic" singer's assets are back under her control, and her Instagram has been reflecting how she is living her life on her own terms.

This includes Spears sharing numerous topless selfies on the platform and, back in July, she shared 10 naked snaps in a row, sparking concerns for her wellbeing.

Spears last week released her first new music in six years, a new song, "Hold Me Closer", with John.

The track went straight to No. 1 on iTunes worldwide on its day of release, with Spears posting a video on Twitter to congratulate John and to celebrate.

"Hello, Sir Elton John, we are like, No. 1 in 40 countries," Spears said on Twitter, before screaming, "Holy s**t!"

"I'm in the tub right now, and I'm about to go have the best day ever, and I hope you're well," she added, right before the video cut off.

"Hold Me Closer" was released over the weekend, but shortly afterwards, Spears also shared a 22-minute audio recording on social media that contained a number of shocking revelations.

Spears explained that her oral account is her way of telling her story, even though she has been offered interview time with the likes of Oprah Winfrey.

Spears has been vocal about her experiences during the conservatorship over the past year.

In the audio file, Spears also revealed how she once considered fleeing the country with her "secret" boyfriend.
