There was already a lot for players to do in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and with the newest update, the list of quests has only grown and now includes a new character.

As the first major update that Disney Dreamlight Valley has received, players will be happy to learn that the game has finally brought one of Disney's most iconic franchises into the mix, The Lion King. With the new update, players can find and work with Scar to restore the Sunlit Plateau to its former glory. But getting the new questline started isn't as simple as just heading over and talking to Scar. Instead, you'll need to have completed a few quests beforehand.

First, you'll need to have unlocked the Sunlit Plateau. Since the questline is all about restoring the region, this part probably already makes sense, and those trying to cook all the 5-star recipes in Dreamlight Valley will probably have already unlocked this area.

Once the area is unlocked, though, you'll still need to meet yet another requirement. Before you can talk to Scar and kick off the new quest, you're going to need to have completed The Curse quest, which asks you to fix the four pillars around the valley. These pillars include Friendship, Courage, Trust, and Power.

Now, after you have completed The Curse, you'll be able to talk to Scar and kick things off with one of Disney's most iconic villains. To do so, head to the Sunlit Plateau and make your way to the northern part of the region. This is close to where the Sunlit Plateau and The Forgotten Lands connect. Look for the giant mammoth skull, and then head inside to find Scar waiting.

Scar will ask you to help him restore the Sunlit Plateau, kicking off a series of quests you'll need to complete to befriend Scar and start unlocking additional quests for him. From there, you can craft gifts using items like Seaweed, and even assign him a special role to help you with mining, fishing, or any of the other main activities found in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

You'll also want to make sure you know how to find the plant in the Dark Grove, which is needed for one of the other main questlines found in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This new update also includes a villain-themed Star Path for players to complete and earn cosmetics in, so make sure you check that out, too.
