A dog called Cambria has melted hearts all over the Internet after a clip of her teaching her younger sister, Cozy, to love the same things that she loves, went viral on social media.

In the viral clip, shared on TikTok earlier in October by the pets' owner under the username Adventuresofcambria, the two dachshunds can be seen lying on their cushion bed by the window, looking outside at the birds and the scenery.

The heartwarming post comes with a caption that says: "When your first dog teaches your second dog to love the same things she loves." Followed by: "Cambria has a window-watching buddy for life."

While these two dogs immediately clicked, it may be more difficult for some others. Your pet will face many changes when a new dog enters the family and may feel a bit displaced, according to VCA Animal Hospitals. They may not like sharing their territory, toys, food, resting places, or humans, but there are ways you can make it work.

Before choosing a new dog, it's helpful to think about what type will fit in with your existing family members. Is your current dog physically able to interact with a pup or would an older dog be a better friend for them? What's this new change going to mean for them?

To avoid territorial aggression, veterinarians advise pet owners to introduce the dogs to a place that is new to both, like a quiet park or green space to allow them to investigate each other.

It is also very important to avoid scolding the dogs if they snarl or growl, as this will only suppress their emotions when you are around. Your goal is to have the dogs establish a safe, fair social hierarchy that will be harmonious even when you are not with them.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 18,200 views and 3,000 likes on the platform.

One user, Zoey's world, commented: "This is beautiful thank you for sharing." Selenaa_gonzalezzz said: "This made me cry." Another user, Pkflynn1, wrote: "Wieners." Vickie added: "Besties for life."
