Just as every Disney princess needs an animal companion by her side, one young girl has her very own canine equivalent—Whenever she sits down to watch one of her favorite movies, he's sure to sit alongside her and enjoy the show.
Bosco, a mixed breed, was adopted by Zoe Ansary in early 2023, after she saw a social media post explaining that he needed a new home as his previous owner had passed away. As soon as she met Bosco, along with her two young daughters, he instantly gravitated to his new sisters, and it was clear to Ansary, from Oregon, that a lifelong friendship was already forming.
"It warms my heart to see them together, he is like a little brother to them," she told Newsweek.
In the several months since, Bosco has developed a love for watching movies with his sisters, and he's more than happy to let them pick the genre. While big sister Izzy, seven, loves a Marvel film, younger sister Zalie, four, always prefers a princess movie.

"They love watching movies with Bosco. You can find him laying on either of them when watching movies," Ansary continued. "Bosco isn't picky, he loves every kind of movie. I would say, his and Zalie's favorite is The Lion King, and his favorite to watch with Izzy is Guardians of The Galaxy.
"If the weather is bad, and we are inside watching a movie, he will sit and watch the entire movie with them."
Just as Bosco has shown, dogs are more than capable of enjoying some downtime in front of the tv screen, and that's often due to the colors on display, the motion, or the sounds.
As PetMD explains, dogs can't see as clearly as humans, so they may often sit closer to the screen to see better, and they can't see as many colors as we do. Dogs are capable of seeing greens, blues and yellows, so if a show or movie is filled with those colors, it's more likely to capture the dog's attention.
Not a day goes by when Bosco doesn't enjoy some TV time with his big sisters, and Ansary has loved sharing that with her followers on social media (@bosco.and.the.fam). On October 30, she posted a clip of Bosco thoroughly enjoying a Disney film alongside Zalie, with the caption: "Every little girl needs a dog that will watch princess movies with them."
After the video went viral, with more than 21,400 views and 1,300 likes in a matter of days, Ansary has loved seeing the positive reaction it received, and she told Newsweek: "People seem to love dogs who watch TV."
It's not just a love of movies that Bosco has in common with his sisters, because it turns out they also dislike the same things too. Whenever their parents choose to watch the football instead, the trio will make their distaste very clear.
The viral video showing how much Bosco "loves their princess movies" has generated many comments on TikTok, and plenty of social media users have praised the bond he shares with his sisters.
One comment reads: "These two are a Disney movie!"
Another person wrote: "Their bond is beautiful."
While one TikToker responded: "He looks so invested!"
