Popular TikToker and trans activist Dylan Mulvaney posted a message to Caitlyn Jenner following last week's comments made on Twitter.
Mulvaney, who gained more than 8 million TikTok followers after starting her series "Days of Girlhood" where she shared her journey as a transgender woman, faced backlash after speaking with President Joe Biden about trans-related healthcare in America.
Shortly after, a TikTok resurfaced of Mulvaney walking around a mall in shorts as she was stared at by strangers. Now she is facing backlash from conservative politicians as well as Jenner, who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2017.
The Response
On Sunday evening, Mulvaney posted a message for Jenner which received more than 14.6 million views, 3.7 million likes and nearly 84,000 comments.

"This video is for Caitlyn Jenner," Mulvaney says in the Tiktok. "If you're not Caitlyn keep on scrolling but if you do stay I don't know, grab a beverage."
After introducing herself, Mulvaney states that she and Jenner "are two of the most privileged trans women in the country at the moment. With that comes a lot of responsibility."
She added that although she and Jenner have differing views, she "probably would have still been willing to sit down with [Jenner] and try to connect with [her] in some way."
"I automatically have a lot of respect for you as a fellow trans woman," she said. "But then you decided to ridicule me very publicly."
Mulvaney pulled up a screenshot of a tweet from Sunday, which shows Jenner replying to Senator Marsha Blackburn's comment about "radical left-wing lunatics."
"Thank you for speaking out and having a backbone–one of the best senators we have," Jenner tweeted. "Let's not 'normalize' any of what this person is doing. This is absurdity!"

'Just Terrible'
But Mulvaney said the comments did not phase her until Jenner started referring to her as "he."
Mulvaney then showed Jenner's tweet on the screen: "He is talking about his penis!"
"Not you calling me a he! That is just terrible," Mulvaney said. "But then you didn't stop there. You said 'there is a difference between acceptance and tolerance, and normalizing exposing your genitals in a public way and a public place...."
Mulvaney continued reading the tweet from Jenner: "I do not support that at all, in the slightest. Dylan...congrats your trans with a penis."
In response, Mulvaney said that although she did nothing to warrant the comments, she does not feel comfortable discussing her genitalia.
"Girl you're making me sound like I'm some creepy flasher exposing myself!" Mulvaney said. "I was wearing perfectly normal shorts at a mall."
'I Was Struggling'
Mulvaney continued, stating that she felt "outed" by the comments and explaining that at the time she filmed the video Jenner is responding to, she did not know how to properly tuck.
Tucking refers to an individual flattening the space between their legs in a way to affirm their gender identity or conceal their genitalia.
"After that video, two amazing trans women gifted me tucking panties and taught me how because they could tell I was struggling," Mulvaney said. "I'm just curious if you can think back to your early days of transitioning and remember being embarrassed about your body."
She said she made the video of her walking around in the mall because she wanted to reclaim her body rather than feel embarrassed.
"Now you've taken that and you turned it into something really ugly," Mulvaney said.
She continued, explaining that surgery is not currently an option for her and that many trans women do not have access to bottom surgery.
"I'm not as far along as you, please be patient," Mulvaney said. "A trans person invalidating another trans person's transness is pretty evil in my eyes...It's coming off very selfish. Is no one else allowed to be trans?"
