Dynasty Season 5 returned to screens just in time for Christmas with a double-bill holiday special. In the first two episodes of the new season, the Carrington's were dealing with the fallout from the Season 4 cliffhanger, which saw Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) shot by Eva (Kara Royster), despite Eva's intended target being Fallon's husband Liam (Adam Huber).

Since Season 4 came to an end in October, Dynasty fans were eagerly waiting to find out Fallon's fate, especially after The CW cleverly left Fallon actress Elizabeth Gillies out of all of the Season 5 promotional material.

If you haven't watched the first two episodes of Dynasty Season 5 yet but want to know Fallon's fate, Newsweek has everything you need to know. Warning, spoilers below.

Is Fallon Dead or Alive in Dynasty Season 5?

Fallon Carrington fans can sort of breathe a huge sigh of relief. Fallon is, thankfully, alive after being shot by Eva, her evil assistant, in the Season 4 finale.

Of course, Dynasty wasted no time in addressing Fallon's fate in the first episode of Dynasty Season 5.

"Seriously? People actually think that I'm dead?!" Fallon was heard screaming from her hospital bed after it became very clear that almost everybody in her close circle and beyond believed she had succumbed to her injuries.

Taking matters into her own hands, Fallon voluntarily discharged herself from the hospital early and rushed home with two things on her mind—to save her marriage and her business.

However, before she could do any of the important stuff, she swung by the local prison to pay her would-be-killer, Eva, a visit. Not only did Eva nearly kill Fallon, but she also leaked to the press some pretty scathing secrets about Fallon and Colin's (Ashley Day) affair and refused to retract any of them, only harming Fallon's reputation even further.

Despite being alive, Fallon's life was hanging in the balance throughout the two episodes and had viewers on the edge of their seats.

Following a heated argument with her husband Liam, after leaving the hospital and confronting Eva, Fallon slipped into a coma midway through the holiday special after fainting.

Thankfully, she pulled through from her coma, thanks to a sweet dream she had about her future with her Liam.

The pair hit rock bottom in Season 4 of Dynasty, particularly after Liam learned Fallon slept with Colin during their "break."

Hopefully, the fact Fallon is dreaming about having children and a future with Liam is a sign things are going to work out between the couple in Season 5 of Dynasty.

Elizabeth Gillies, who plays Fallon in Dynasty, posted a photo of her and co-star Adam Huber, who plays Liam, after the premiere of Dynasty Season 5.

She captioned the image of them standing in front of a Christmas tree: "And just like that."

Fans took to the comment section to share their happiness Fallon was alive and trying to make amends with Liam.

One fan wrote: "We finally got them back!!," while another wrote: "MOM AND DAD ARE BACK"

A third fan added: "I cried so much when Fal was in Coma now I'm like smiling and crying too cause I'm way too happy."

Dynasty Season 5 is streaming on The CW App now and will return on Friday, March 11, 2022, on The CW.
