Getting around Gotham City in Gotham Knights isn't that hard. The Bat Cycle, as well as the Knighthood abilities, give you plenty of ways to get around the city nicely. However, you can also unlock fast travel options shortly into the game, and it's actually recommended you unlock them early on to make jumping from mission to mission easier.

You can start unlocking fast travel points in Gotham Knights once you reach mission 2.1 "AKA Oswald Cobblepot." After completing the opening bit, make your way over and talk with Lucius Fox. He'll offer up a challenge that you need to complete that requires you to scan drones flying around the city. If you scan all of the drones, you'll unlock for your first fast travel point.

To continue unlocking more fast travel points, you'll need to head around the city and scan drones at various locations. This will then allow you to travel to those drones quickly, making it much easier to get around the city. It can be a time-consuming system, especially since you'll sometimes have to wait for the drones to approach you before you can start scanning them. But, once you've managed to unlock all the fast travel points, getting around Gotham City is much easier.

From there, you can start utilizing the fast travel points to get around to the different regions of the city, and unlock new challenges and quests. You can also fast travel to the Belfry, the main point of operations in Gotham Knights at any point in the game to complete a night patrol. This is also the only way that you can switch characters in Gotham Knights once you've chosen a character at the start of the game.

Of course, there are plenty of other things you can do throughout Gotham City, too, and for a complete overview of all the work that WB Montreal has put into the title, make sure you check out Newsweek's Gotham Knights review.

Now that Gotham Knights is officially out, you can also start unlocking new suits. Suits are an important part of the progression grind in Gotham Knights, and getting your hands on new suits means you can make your characters stronger and faster in the end.

When you combine the various activities out in the game world with the ability to fast travel using the drones you've unlocked, it's also much easier to level up your suits and start gathering more crafting materials to craft new ones, too.
