There's no time for boredom if you're an HBO Max subscriber. The streamer will release enough movies and shows to keep viewers busy and entertained on just about every day of the month in April.
A few HBO Max originals are set to debut on the platform in April, too. There's The Great Pottery Throw Down, a new British competition series, which—as the title suggests—will follow contestants as they craft exquisite pottery. Cristin Milioti is sure to charm audiences with her new HBO Max dark comedy, Made for Love, in which she plays a woman on the lam from her estranged tech billionaire husband. Plot twist: he's embedded a tracking device in her brain, so escaping him doesn't come easy. And for the kiddos, the fourth season of the animated series Infinity Train is slated to premiere on HBO Max in April, too.
Along with a few original features and dozens upon dozens of popular hits—lookout for titles like The Dark Knight Rises, Ted, Stuart Little, Risky Business and six movies in the Police Academy franchise—there is a big-ticket movie releasing on HBO Max on the same day as its theatrical release: Warner Bros.' Mortal Kombat starring Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Ludi Lin and Josh Lawson, among others.
