Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has offered new campaign advice to Donald Trump amid his ongoing race in the 2024 presidential election.
"If I was giving advice to President Donald Trump, I would say move the focus onto President Biden. Bring President Biden out," McCarthy said during an interview with Fox News' America's Newsroom. "Every time he [Biden] speaks, people see his weakness, he cannot solve his biggest problem, his age."
McCarthy continued: "If I was President Trump, I would stop talking about Nikki Haley, I would just talk about the issues and I would challenge President Biden, every day, to a debate."
Trump recently secured a victory in the Iowa caucuses as well as the New Hampshire primary, beating former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

Since his victory, Trump has continued his criticism of Haley, suggesting that she should drop out of the race.
During his appearance on America's Newsroom, McCarthy criticized Biden, saying "any time he sets the stage, where he's not getting even asked a question, he shows his weakness, he shows he's not up for the job."
"This is what the race is about. It's not with one another. Make us stronger, President Trump needs Nikki Haley's votes and Nikki Haley needs President Trump's votes, if we're gonna be able to win this race," McCarthy added.
Newsweek reached out to Trump's spokesperson via email for comment.
Earlier this week, McCarthy appeared on Bloomberg TV and further spoke about Haley's campaign, saying that he doesn't expect her to continue past the South Carolina primary.
"It's about 30 days before South Carolina, she's losing South Carolina," McCarthy said. "At the end of the day, I do not think Nikki Haley wants to lose her home state that badly. I think she'll probably pull out. I think it's difficult for her to win the majority."
Earlier on Friday, Haley appeared on America's Newsroom and spoke about her campaign plans following two early losses.
"This is about continuing to build. Only two states have voted; we have 48 states left. You can't go and discount all of those voters who want to vote in this election," Haley said. "We're gonna keep going as long as we keep growing and I think that's what the American people want."
A recent poll from Morning Consult found Trump extending his lead over Haley following his victory in New Hampshire. According to the poll, 81 percent of voters sided with Trump following the New Hampshire primary, compared with 79 percent prior. In comparison, the poll found 18 percent of voters siding with Haley following the New Hampshire primary, while 20 percent said they'd vote for Haley prior to the primary.
