A California resident has shared the truth behind a hack aimed at dealing with noisy neighbors, which went viral on TikTok.
We've all been stuck under, or next to, someone who enjoys blasting out tunes at all hours, but advancements in technology mean you can now, in theory, sabotage their playlist.
A man named, Matt O'Brien, seemingly decided to take matters into his own hands after his upstairs "neighbors" cranked up the volume.
O'Brien, from Los Angeles, shared a clip to TikTok where he filmed the ceiling, where music is supposedly pumping through.
"I made a song to play over my neighbor's Bluetooth speaker when they're being too loud," he captioned the video.
The comedian recorded an original song, with new lyrics sung over the classical masterpiece In the Hall of the Mountain King, by Edvard Grieg.

He trills: "Turn your f****** music down, music down, music down. Turn your f***** music down your music's f****** loud."
The 36-year-old saved it on his computer simply as the "Neighbor Song."
The clip shows him connecting to a Samsung soundbar J-series via Bluetooth, which appears to belong to the people who live above him.
As soon as he takes control of the speaker the loud music stops, and O'Brien then plays the "Neighbor Song," with the muffled tune heard through the walls.
While the hack proved divisive online after being watched more than 12 million times since being uploaded over the weekend, O'Brien told Newsweek it was a fake.
He said: "The video is fake, it's always been a fantasy of mine to connect to my loud neighbors' speaker so I edited a video to make it look and sound like I was.
"I've been editing videos for years and never thought THIS was the one that would pop off all of a sudden. I guess people can relate being stuck inside during the pandemic."
Despite admitting it didn't actually happen, it struck a chord with fellow tenants stuck living next to noisy neighbors.
Swizzle commented: "We need it on Spotify ASAP."
Renae added: "Oh my god I need this for my neighbours."
"Please make this a sound or something so I can play this for my neighbors when they wake my five month old up."
Madeline Ronzoni added: "I needed this the other day when I was woken up at 4am."
Some weren't fans of the idea, with Danlyman_ pointing out: "This is why you should always set a password on any wireless device if possible."
And one person cottoned on to the set-up, with Paul C Gilchrist theorizing: "Plot twist: it's his own two storey house and the 'neighbors' aren't real."
