It is often said that there is nothing like a dog's love, which they will display in a whole variety of ways, so this Labrador choosing to hold hands with the staff at his day care has melted millions of hearts online.

Day-care facility Camp Bow Wow, in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, shared the adorable clip on its TikTok account (@campbowwowscs) showing the black Labrador, named Max, latching onto an arm whenever he could. Max simply loves showing his love through physical contact, and the day-care workers can't get enough of it either. The caption alongside the clip reads: "We all need a Max in our life."

Since the video was posted on October 14, it has already been viewed more than 1.2 million times and received over 213,000 likes in a matter of days. Many social-media users have loved seeing Max's sweet behavior, as TikTok users praised his loving gesture towards the day-care workers.

Dogs love to show how much they love and appreciate their humans in a number of different ways, and it doesn't always have to be licking your face first thing in the morning. WebMD says that, when a dog is excited to see you, wants to sleep near you, or seeks physical contact from you, these are all signs that the animal loves you.

Although owners might find it frustrating when their dog storms into the bathroom during a shower, or constantly delivers toys to them, these are also signs of affection from a pet as it means they care a lot about you. It might seem like they are being clingy if they want to be around you all the time, but it shows how much they love your company and want to share every moment with you.

There is no question that Max loves seeing the staff at day care in Michigan, and they certainly appreciate the affection he gives them. Layered over the adorable clip, the day care wrote: "Get yourself someone that will hold your hand like Max."

The day care has continued to share hilarious clips of the dogs the staff members care for, much to the appreciation of the TikTok followers. The videos range from the dogs' playtime antics when they are all allowed out together, to the perils of having to endure bath time. Max appears to be a fan favorite online as his video has generated the most views among the many posts.

Among the 469 comments on the clip, many TikTok users commented to praise Max's loving temperament, and others shared how their Labrador does the same thing.

One comment reads: "absolutely peak good boy performance."

Another person wrote: "I cannot adequately express the level of pure joy that consumes me every time Max shows up."

One TikTok user commented: "our puppy does this too, I have to warn guests he's not biting, he just likes to hold hands."
