It seems that Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid just can't escape marital doom on Married at First Sight Season 10.

Although the couple hit it off when they first met at their wedding, in the weeks since, their relationship has suffered a number of rocky moments, from Brandon's explosive meltdown and volatile behavior towards producers during their reunion to miscommunication when they arrived in their new shared home.

However, on the last episode of the Lifetime reality series, the couple appeared to be headed back down a path of marital bliss after Married at First Sight relationship expert and counselor Dr. Viviana Coles instructed them to play a special card game that focused on verbal compliments and affection. Feeling the heat of the moment, the newlyweds decided to recommit themselves to the marital experiment, and Taylor even let Brandon sleep in the bed.

Unfortunately, their marital bliss won't last long. On the upcoming episode of Married at First Sight, set to air on Wednesday, Taylor and Brandon will be back at odds as they prepare to join the other Season 10 couples on a marriage retreat.

In an episode 14 sneak peek (below) exclusive to Newsweek, Taylor and Brandon experienced a dreadfully awkward car ride on their way to the couple's retreat. It all starts when Brandon decides to take a nap during the long journey instead of talking about what's bothering him.

"I know that we need to talk, but I'm not ready. So I thought it would be a great idea for me to go to sleep," Brandon said during a confessional video.

By now, it's pretty obvious when Brandon is in a mood, and Taylor picks up on it right away. According to her, he may be upset that she decided to go hang out the night before the retreat. But it's anyone's guess as to what he's actually mad about considering the fact that he won't talk about it, and Taylor's forced to enjoy the ride in silence.

"The ride up is just not everything I thought it would be. I'm really hoping that this is not about me going out because he didn't say that he was upset or anything. But if you really are, then open up. Speak your peace. Spit it out, but he doesn't. He puts in his headphones and goes to sleep. And he doesn't talk to me," Taylor said in a confessional video.

The Season 10 couples are inching closer toward decision day, and soon Taylor and Brandon will have to determine whether or not they'll remain married. If you've been keeping up with the pair's real-life drama, then you already may have an idea as to what fate their future holds (we won't spill it here if you haven't). Nonetheless, there are certainly a few more rocky moments to get through first, and the couple's retreat is just one of them.

Married at First Sight airs on Lifetime on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
