This week, my column revisited the tragic mass shooting at a Christian elementary school in Nashville in late March. I argue that it should have been immediately apparent that the transgender lunatic school shooter deliberately targeted The Covenant School (which she had once attended as a student) as a deranged act of vengeance against Christians. Additional revelations, such as the fact the shooter diverted from the school during the course of the shooting to scurry off to the adjacent church and shoot up a stained-glass representation of the biblical character Adam, only confirm that suspicion. At this point, it is long past time for Nashville police and the FBI to release the dead shooter's manifesto. The release of that manifesto is the current subject of ongoing litigation, but it is imperative for the sake of justice that the manifesto be released posthaste. (And for that matter, the shooter's toxicology report, which could reveal injections of testosterone, should also be released.)

This week, my podcast began with an update on syndicated radio host Mark Levin's recent attacks on me: I should be appearing on Levin's show soon to debate him. (Or I sincerely hope to substantively debate him and that he doesn't quickly resort to ad hominem mudslinging, I should say.) After that, I used the news hook of Sen. Tim Scott's (R-SC) newly announced 2024 presidential campaign and the imminent announcement of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' (R-FL) own presidential campaign to do a deep dive on the GOP's emerging presidential field. It seems like Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence (not himself a formally announced candidate, technically), and former South Carolina Governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley are all trying to out-BoomerCon each other, seeing who can serve up the most vapid mix of faux-nostalgic bumper-sticker sloganeering on any given day ending in -y. For those of us in the more nationalist- and populist-inclined "New Right" who "know what time it is" in America and support the prudential use of political power to vanquish wokeness wherever it raises its ugly head, I think the choice of who to support is pretty clear. Or, at a bare minimum, at least, the choice of which candidates not to support is certainly clear. You can listen on Apple, Spotify, or here.
