An old lady living in a flat with a balcony has discovered the best way to let her cat in and out without having to go downstairs, and the internet can't get enough.
A video, shared on TikTok by Emiliabroxx, shows the woman dropping a rope with a cat carrier, and her cat getting into the bag to be lifted upstairs, only after meowing that it's ready to go.
Cats are very intelligent creatures, more intelligent than we may realize. According to PetMD "relative brain size isn't always the best indicator of intelligence. And the cat brain shares some amazing similarities with our own brains."
In fact, each part of a cat's brain is compartmentalized, specialized, and connected to the others, allowing cats to understand, respond to and even manipulate their surroundings.

Cats are similar to humans in many ways. In fact, studies show that cats and humans share about 90 percent of their DNA.
The video, first shared on the platform last week, has since been viewed over 6.6 million times and liked about 746,500 times.
One user, j.yz.c, said they know the old lady and the cat from the video: "The cat's name is Mio! We used to live on the 1st floor and often talked to the old lady when we saw her."
Adding: "I don't want to be too precise for privacy reasons, but it's at St. Hanshaugen in Oslo Norway."
Another user, Jessica Tang commented: "The little meow to tell her she's ready." And Bondisaurus added: "Walked up to the bag and looked up then said 'I'm ready now."
Brandon wrote: "Plot twist: she's stealing her neighbor's cat." And Alan Pin455 speculated: "I'm sure it's foodie time."
Other users were very impressed by the cat's behavior. Felix commented: "Her little tail when she looks up." And Tony added: "cat gets in the bag looks up and says 'pull me up Hooman."
Some users praised the cat owner too. CatLoverBookfreak said: "Beautiful cat lady. Much love to you madam." And esme_yeh added: "THIS IS THE CUTEST THING I'VE SEEN IN MY LIFE."
Bubs.thecat wrote: "I have a 3yr old cat whom I take out on walks. I don't understand when you gain the trust of your cat coming back. Lol."
