Pokemon Go's annual Halloween event is currently ongoing, giving players a chance to stock up on candy and even catch a Galarian Yamask or two. On top of catching a Galarian Yamask, players can also evolve their Galarian Yamask into a Runerigus. To do this, players will need to meet a couple of requirements, which you'll find detailed below.

You won't need to worry about grinding for Mega Energy or anything like that if you want to evolve your Galarian Yamask during Pokémon Go's 2022 Halloween event. Instead, you'll only need to gather yourself a specific number of Candies, and then complete a certain number of raids.

Here are the requirements you need to hit to evolve Galarian Yamask:

  • 50x Yamask Candy
  • 10 raids completed

First, you'll need to gather a total of 50 Yamask Candies. These candies can be farmed by completing different objectives within the Halloween event.

Different objectives can be found during the event, including some easy ones like making nine curveball throws, catching 40 ghost-type Pokémon, and even making 49 nice throws. You'll need to complete the entirety of the Mysterious Masks research event to earn 49 Yamask Candies.

If you hunker down and blast through it, then it shouldn't take you too long to complete this requirement. Playing normally throughout the day will probably take you a few days to complete this requirement, though.

Secondly, you'll need to compete in a total of 10 raids. The raids are by far the most time-consuming part of the process, and if you don't purchase any additional raid passes, it will most likely take you five to 10 days to complete this requirement.

However, once you have met it, you'll be able to evolve your Galarian Yamask into a Runerigus, and then show off your newest Pokémon companion.

Now that you have a firm grasp of how to earn Yamask Candy and even evolve your Galarian Yamask, you can get back out there and continue enjoying the latest Pokémon Go Halloween event.

The Special Research event will end on November 1, so players won't have much longer to complete the required steps to evolve their Galarian Yamask. As such, you'll want to work on this process as quickly as possible over the coming hours.
