One hint is in one of the new characters who has been announced for the sequel, whose timeline starts two weeks after the events of the Power Season 6 finale. Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man has been cast in Ghost as Davis Maclean, an attorney described by the Hollywood Reporter as: "Brilliant, ethically challenged and harboring a few secrets of his own.
The description continues: "Davis is drawn into the Power world on multiple axes, and in a world riddled with murder and drugs, the only thing he's addicted to is winning."

And who better than an "ethically challenged" lawyer to help Tasha, who definitely comes from a world "riddled with murder and drugs," and who may not have killed Ghost—but has the blood of LaKeisha (LaLa Anthony) on her hands?
Another clue is what executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has said about Power Book II: Ghost. In a Variety article, 50 Cent described the show as "female orientated," while in an Entertainment Weekly preview showrunner Courtney Kemp discussed the series' "very strong female characters." This seems to suggest a return for Tasha—after all, how could the show celebrate the strong female characters of Power without featuring its best one? Fans are surely going to want to see Tasha face off against new series lead Monet (Mary J. Blige).

Power Book II details are sure to emerge soon, now the series finale has aired and we know exactly who survived it. This means we should know whether Tasha is among the "controversial characters" Kemp has teased are returning for the sequel.
