A sweet exchange between Prince Louis and his siblings has become the subject of a new viral video, as fans highlighted a moment between the royals captured on Christmas Day in a post to social media site, TikTok.
Louis is the youngest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales and made his first appearance at the royal family's traditional Christmas Day church service held on the Sandringham Estate in 2022.
The prince, who celebrated his fifth birthday in April, has seen his public appearances become eagerly anticipated among royal fans who have quickly shared images and videos to social media of his excitable reactions and interactions with his family.
Uploaded to TikTok by user, svyl2, on December 7, footage of Louis and his siblings, Prince George (10) and Princess Charlotte (8) meeting members of the public on Christmas Day has gone viral, reaching over 850,000 views on the platform so far.
The clip shows the children and their father, Prince William, as they passed two King Charles spaniel dogs who had been taken to the event by their owners, with one performing a notably loud bark.
Louis was spotted noticing the dogs and getting the attention of Princess Charlotte to see what the noise was.
Captioned "I love Prince Louis," the sweet interaction caught on camera by a member of the crowd has received in excess of 90,000 likes and over a hundred comments, many of which have praised the royals.
"I love the way they let Prince Louis be himself 💙," wrote one TikTok user.
"Louis is adorable 🥰," posted another, with a further user adding: "He wanted to go pet that puppy so bad!"
Louis has seen his public appearances increase over the past year, following the death of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
In addition to the Christmas Day appearance as well as the royal family's Easter Sunday church service and Trooping the Colour ceremony, Louis was also present at King Charles III's coronation at Westminster Abbey in May.
In December, William and Kate released an official family portrait as part of their annual Christmas card.
Taken by fashion and celebrity portrait photographer, Josh Shinner, the image shows the prince and princess with their three children in black and white, arranged in a family group against a plain backdrop, taken at Windsor.
Louis' appearance caused some discussion on social media as users theorized that the placement of his hand may have been the product of photoshop. The young prince was photographed standing with his hand placed on the arm of a chair, in which his sister, Princess Charlotte, was sitting.
