Splatoon 3's Locker Room is a place where you can store some of your favorite items in your own personal locker. Whether you want to stack 16 Inkling plush toys or display the weapons you use the most, it's up to you how you want to customize this space. It's just one of many ways, in fact, that you can make your Inkling or Octoling feel more like an extension of you, much like Splashtags and your customizable gear.
Slap some stickers on the door or show off the manga you bought at the General Hotlantis Store. It's all up to you how you'd like to personalize it. You can also view other players' lockers for inspiration on how to decorate yours or to see what kind of items are out there to earn or purchase.
But at some point, you might decide that you need more space to store all your stuff. You may also notice that some players' lockers are taller than yours, or even different colors. That's not a fluke, and you have the same opportunity for a larger personal space as well. That means more area for your favorite goodies and different ways to arrange things.
If your locker is at max capacity or you want to change up the color so yours stands out above the rest, we've got all the answers you need. Here's how you can get a bigger locker in Splatoon 3.

How to Get a Bigger Locker in Splatoon 3
If you want to get a bigger locker in Splatoon 3, you'll need to reach level 15 by playing the multiplayer mode. As you complete matches, whether you win or lose, you'll get a slew of experience points. Eventually, you'll rise through the ranks enough to reach level 15, at which point you'll be able to make your space larger.
When you reach level 15, you can head to the Locker Room and examine your locker. It will have an exclamation point floating on top of it, which means it's gotten an upgrade. It can take some time to reach level 15, admittedly, even with regular and repeated play. You can use Food Tickets in the Lobby to purchase meals that increase XP to make this process go faster. But you'll still have to do the bulk of the heavy lifting here if you want that bigger locker.
There are potentially additional, larger upgrades later on as you level up even further, but the game is so new even we haven't reached beyond Level 15 just yet. We'll confirm whether this is the case once we've played enough to go beyond the first locker upgrade. This may take quite a bit of time, especially since it's going to take many matches to level up.
In the meantime, you can think about changing your locker color as well. There's no trick to this. Simply head to the General Hotlantis Store and look for lockers on a daily basis after the store resets. You'll occasionally find locker colors here to purchase, with which you can customize your locker. Really, this comes down to the luck of the draw, so you'll have to be diligent about checking what's available.
Splatoon 3 is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
