Who Is Stassi Schroeder's Surprising Husband Beau Clark?

The coronavirus pandemic may have put a damper on Stassi Schroeder's dreams of a lavish Italian wedding ceremony, but it didn't stop her and fiancé Beau Clark from going through with their nuptials.

The former Vanderpump Rules star announced she and Clark officially tied the knot back in September. "Today would've been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway," she wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday, adding, "I'm so proud to be your wife."

The surprise ceremony was far from the extravaganza the couple had initially planned. Instead, the secret backyard wedding was incredibly casual as a pregnant Schroeder was dressed down in a white dress and dust jacket while Clark wore a sage-colored open-button shirt with a t-shirt underneath. However, Schroeder wrote that she hoped to still pull off her dream Italian wedding in October 2021.

Schroeder first introduced fans and viewers of the Bravo reality show to her new love during a Season 7 episode of Vanderpump Rules in 2018. The pair, who will soon be welcoming their first daughter together, have been inseparable since, which is quite the turn-of-events considering the fact that when Schroeder's castmate Kristen Doute first showed Beau her friend Schroeder's Instagram, he initially gave a "hard no" response.

Beau is a longtime friend of Doute and fellow Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney-Schwartz. The reality star pals had long tried to hook up Clark and Schroeder, but Clark originally wasn't interested with Schroeder's West Hollywood girl vibe.

"I said, 'Nope.' I just scanned through the pictures and I was like, 'Oh, the bleached blonde hair, she's probably got botox, she's probably got fake boobs..." Clark said during a February appearance on Schroeder's podcast, Straight Up with Stassi.

He added: "I was like, 'She probably goes to Nightingale and gets bottle service. Just not my cup of tea.'"

But after much prodding by Doute and Maloney-Schwartz, the pair finally met at the Mondrian Hotel bar in August 2017. And what do you know? They hit it off. Schroeder and Clark bonded over their shared unique sense of humor and love of dogs—Schroeder is the proud owner of her famous white Maltese Luda while Clark is pet parent to a Maltese mix named Refund. Since their meet-cute, Clark has made a number of appearances on Vanderpump Rules.

Although Clark's wife is a reality star along with some of his buddies, he isn't actually connected to Sur, Pump, Tom Tom or any of the restaurants featured on the show. He works in commercial casting for Sanford casting and Clark has also appeared in a few indie movies and film shorts including Sex and the Teenage Mind and The Revenant.
