People were left confused after seeing footage from Tiffany Trump's wedding that showed blindfolded women dancing in gold dresses.

The youngest daughter of former President Donald Trump married Michael Boulos, the son of a wealthy Lebanese family, on Saturday at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Before the couple stepped out for their first dance, a group of tall women danced at the edges of the dancefloor wearing black blindfolds.

They also sported mini versions of Tiffany's wedding bouquets in their mouths and wore their hair slicked back.

After the newlyweds finished their first dance, the dancers returned to perform a slow, choreographed number.

A member of the Boulos family named Viviane shared a video of the dance routine to her Instagram, where a Twitter user then shared and asked 'what is going on?'

"hey so while y'all are here can someone take a look at this insta story from tiffany trump's wedding and tell me what the f*** is going on? thanks," tweeted Alise Navidad.

People flocked to share their thoughts in Navidad's replies, with some suggesting it was reminiscent of the 1999 Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman film, Eyes Wide Shut.

"They hired the jezebels from the handmaids tale," replied one Twitter user, while another tweeted: "Eyes Wide Shut theme?? Makes sense to me."

A third Twitter commenter wrote: "They're about to start the second annual squid games."

Other dancers spotted at the wedding included a group in fluffy white outfits that some people described as looking like "marshmallows" on Twitter.

The 29-year-old began dating Boulos, 25, in summer 2018 after they met on Mykonos in Greece.

Boulos proposed to Tiffany at the White House Rose Garden in January 2021 with a $1.2 million diamond ring.

Tiffany wore two dresses on her big day, including one by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, as did her mother, Marla Maples, and half-sister Ivanka Trump, who also served as bridesmaid.

"I have always loved Elie Saab, and it's a Lebanese/American wedding so we are happy to have Elie create the magic," Tiffany told the U.K. newspaper Daily Mail.

Trump walked Tiffany, from his marriage to second wife, Maples, down the aisle under a rhododendron-festooned arch with pink, white and blue flowers.

"We are focused on this sacred union and welcoming beloved friends and family, not on politics," Maples told People.

She also revealed they chose Mar-a-Lago as the wedding venue because "this was Tiffany's childhood home and where she was brought into the world."

The couple's wedding cake was a spectacular 7-foot-tall Sylvia Weinstock creation, which was the same that her parents had at their 1993 nuptials when Tiffany was a baby, according to People.

Newsweek reached out to Tiffany for comment.
