Since Taylor Swift first showed up at a Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24, the internet has been desperate for any details of her rumored romance with football star Travis Kelce.

Even NFL fans have had enough of the non-stop coverage of the singer, whose appearances at Kelce's games get almost as much attention as the players on the pitch.

In an interview with NBC Sports on October 22, Jason Kelce admitted he found the sudden media obsession surrounding his brother unsettling.

"It's certainly been weird, the level that it is now," he told sports reporter Peter King.

"I'm happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he's excited about, that he is genuine about. But there's another end of it where it's like, 'Man, this is a lot.'"

The Philadelphia Eagles center said the level of fame Travis Kelce is currently experiencing is unusual for football players.

"So on one hand, [I'm] really, really happy for my brother and where he's at in his current situation with Taylor," he said. "But on the other hand, there's some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be."

Despite the sudden interest in his 33-year-old brother's love life, Jason Kelce believes the Chief's tight end can handle the pressure.

"Overall, he can deal with some of this," he said. "As long as it's not, you know, becoming a threat to his safety and things like that."

Although the pair have been spotted on what appear to be several dates, Swift and Kelce have yet to confirm or deny their relationship.

During a July episode of the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce admitted to having a crush on the 33-year-old music icon, before sharing a failed attempt to give her his phone number after the Kansas City stop of her Eras tour.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," he said.

"So I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

In September, rumors began to circle that the pair were "quietly hanging out," while Jason Kelce appeared to confirm his brother's new romance during an appearance on 94 WIP sports radio.

When asked about the rumors, the 35-year-old said: "It's hard to answer because I don't know a lot about what's happening in Travis' love life.

"I try to keep his business kind of his business and stay out of that world. But having said that, man, I think he's doing great and I think it's all 100 percent true."

Since attending the Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears match at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium on September 24—where the pop star was seen hanging out in a private suite with Kelce's mother Donna—Swift has been sighted at many of her rumored boyfriend's games, occasionally bringing along famous friends such as Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

On October 15, the duo were photographed going for dinner before attending the season premiere of Saturday Night Live in New York, which has been billed as their first truly public appearance together.
