As things heat up between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chief star's parents have shared their thoughts on the relationship.

Swift and Kelce have been making headlines recently and according to Entertainment Tonight, the couple are "all in" on their romance. On October 14 the pair made their first truly public appearance when they had dinner together and went to the premiere of Saturday Night Live.

Swift has cheered on Kelce at Chiefs games, and he now intends to see Swift during her November international tour, taking advantage of the NFL team's bye week.

Swift has even completed the most important step of dating—meeting the parents. Now, both Donna and Ed Kelce have spoken out about the couple.

What Donna Kelce Has Said

According to MARCA, a source said Donna—affectionally referred to as Mama Kelce—wants the pair to slow things down and let their relationship develop naturally.

"Donna isn't against Taylor dating Travis," the source reportedly said. "She just wants her to pump the brakes a bit. Donna thinks that their relationship should develop naturally, out of the spotlight."

This isn't to say Donna doesn't approve of Swift, as a video posted online by ESPN shows the pair together during the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears on September 24, and they were pictured together when the Chiefs played the Broncos on October 12.

What Ed Kelce Has Said

Ed Kelce has shared his admiration for Swift, telling People in an interview that the pop singer is a "down-to-earth young woman."

On October 12 he was seen chatting with Swift in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium and later said he noticed something "very special" about her during their first meeting.

"We're sitting in the suite…she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can," he said. "And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot."

On Sunday, Swift attended her fourth Chiefs game to support her NFL star boyfriend and the new couple held hands as they left Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City following the Chiefs' 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Travis Kelce bought a new home after TMZ reported that paparazzi waited outside his house to catch a glimpse of the couple.

According to TMZ and later confirmed by Page 6, Kelce purchased a $6 million mansion, in part because his old house was "far too accessible" and was "starting to become a tourist attraction."

Newsweek has reached out to representatives for both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for comment.
