Williams was the former girlfriend of Carter, and she has not been since his dismembered body was found in multiple bags along Interstate 75 in Ohio in October 2018. It was ruled he had died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Since the release of the Unsolved Mysteries episode on Tuesday, October 19, the team behind the series has revealed in a conversation with TMZ that more than 90 tips have been put forward to Ohio police investigating his death.

The team also confirmed the positive news via the Unsolved Mysteries Twitter page by resharing the TMZ article.

In a tweet, Unsolved Mysteries wrote: "Thank you to all those citizen detectives who have shared a tip. For anyone who may have any information regarding Tammy Williams's whereabouts, please submit them on our website: https://unsolved.com/tips/."

Williams, now 43, has been on the run since Carter's death in October 2018, and the tips received since "Body in Bags" premiered on Netflix suggest she is still in the U.S.

Williams and Carter were last seen together at a football game on September 28, 2018. Two days later, on Sunday, September 30, Carter's son, DJ, was supposed to stay with his father, but both he and his mother, Samia Conner, received a text message sent from Carter's phone that he was too ill to spend time with his son.

Later that Sunday, DJ visited his father's house to pick up some belongings when he saw Williams taking out the trash.

Speaking in Unsolved Mysteries, DJ recalls Williams's strange behavior when she saw him that day: "She ran to the apartment door, like, ran. And when I got to my dad's house, the door was locked. You'd have thought since she saw me, she'd have left it unlocked, but I had a key."

On Tuesday, October 2, 2018, the Carter family received a call from his friend and co-worker, Roger Davis, who told them that Carter had been absent from work for the past three days, which was extremely unusual.

Carter's family rushed to his apartment in Melvindale, Michigan, and upon entering his bedroom, they saw a blood-stained mattress and evidence of bullet holes on the door to the closet.

Carter was officially declared a missing person on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, but less than a day later, his disappearance became a homicide investigation after his lifeless body was officially identified.

On Monday, October 1, a, moving crew with the Ohio Department of Transportation discovered a bag containing the dismembered lower torso of an adult male.

Sadly, over 16 days, Carter's body parts would be found in multiple locations along the I-75 highway in Ohio.

Williams was arrested by Michigan police on Friday, October 5, as the prime suspect in Carter's death, but was released from custody three days later due to a lack of evidence against her for authorities to press charges.

Today, Williams is wanted by U.S. Marshals for "mutilation, dismemberment of a dead body, tampering with evidence, and felony firearm."

She is 5 feet 5 inches and weighs around 190 pounds, with "several notable tattoos," according to U.S. Marshals. A reward of $10,000 is available for any information leading to her arrest, but she may have altered her appearance, and it is possible she is using an alias.

There was a string of sightings of Williams recorded in the weeks after Carter's death.

According to Andrew Battersby of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Williams was spotted in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on October 16, 2018, when she withdrew cash from an ATM and had dinner at a restaurant.

Williams is then believed to have taken a train to Chicago and another to Penn Station, New York City.

There is evidence that the suspect checked into the Neptune Hotel using her own name, staying for one night. However, Williams was spotted leaving the hotel on October 18 and hasn't been seen since.
