In the caption, the owner states: "Don't worry, belly and baby are okay. I don't let him jump 99% of the time even though I hardly feel him!"

It is very likely that Godzilla knows his owner is pregnant and there's even a chance he knew before she did. The American Kennel Club (AKC) states that dogs have an amazing ability to sniff out pregnancy, along with diseases too.

Canines have 60 times as many smell receptors as humans and 40 times as much brainpower dedicated to smell, meaning they can differentiate 30,000 to 100,000 aromas. They are able to detect a difference in scent when their owner is pregnant, but it's "unlikely he comprehends the reason for the change," according to the AKC.

But that doesn't stop dogs from bonding with the bump, and some canines can become very protective of their owners.

One owner was prompted to take a pregnancy test when her dachshund kept lying on her stomach, and Newsweek previously shared the moment a golden retriever realized its owner was pregnant when it felt the baby kick.

Godzilla's owner has revealed the baby kicked right after her pet jumped off her stomach. Some users have implied the baby and pooch have already formed a tag team. To watch the video, click here.

"The baby helped him get a little extra lift there didn't it lol," said one user.

"They playing a game," said another.

"The baby kicked like someone's in here," commented another user.

It turns out other people's pets treat their stomachs like a trampoline too, and one user said their Pitbull attempts to do the same.

Another pregnant woman said: "My cats trying to jump off my belly while I'm 36 weeks. They not used to me being so big lol."

Cat and dog training and behavior professional Susan Nilson of The Cat and Dog House previously told Newsweek while there is no scientific evidence that indicates whether cats can detect pregnancy, they might be able to notice changes in a person.

Newsweek reached out to @zillatheyorkie for comment via Instagram. We couldn't verify the details of the case.
