Woman Backed After Faking Pregnancy for Seat: 'Luggage off the Train'

A woman has gone viral for sharing her trick to always get a seat on the train, and the internet loved the idea, although it's not for everyone!

In a video shared on TikTok last Friday, the woman, who goes by Ailish Morrison, showed her followers how she can blow her belly up so much to look heavily pregnant.

To accompany the video was a caption that read: "joking. I simply yeated the lady's luggage off the train." As well as a caption in the video that said: "no seats available? I got you."

A recent survey sponsored by skincare company Mama Mio found that only 60 percent of people would give up their seat on public transit for a pregnant woman, and just 3 in 10 think that the gesture is only necessary when a woman's "baby bump" is showing.

The study also found that sometimes women are mistaken for being pregnant when they in fact aren't, which was the case for about 7 percent of women who responded to the survey.

The post has gone viral online during the weekends, and in the last three days it has reached over 371,800 likes, 1,361 comments, and 2,346 re-shares.

Most users appreciated the idea while others found it funny. One user commented: "Results may vary due to gender."

And another said: "Naw imma pull a lil nas."

While a third said: "8 months pregnant now and people still don't offer seats.."

Some users worried about the physical implications of blowing up your belly that way. Chickennquidnugs said: "it physically pains me to stick my stomach out, how are u doing it for so long." And Nicole Kopitzke wrote: "I literally thought no one else could do this."
