The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots had one of the most insane endings to a football game for many a year in the NFL and one Raiders fan let a Patriots fan know all about it.
A video of a woman intimidating a Patriots fan in what she calls "her" stadium has gone viral, as she loses her cool while he remains cool and composed.
After Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones picked up a loose ball to returned it 48 yards for a game-winning touchdown as time expired, the female fan went on the offensive against a Patriots fan who was a few seats down.
The video of the woman ranting and raving has been viewed nearly a million times after it was posted on Twitter, with a shout-out to the man on the receiving end of the tongue lashing.
Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. Entire game this lady was chirping at him for CHEERING for the Patriots in “her” stadium. Absolute shit ending for NE & she’s up in his face. He stayed calm after seeing the worst loss ever. I know I wouldn’t. He deserves some love. pic.twitter.com/gaKuSv3YqO

Captioning the video, Twitter user Babz, who claims to be the leader of the fan group Patriot Nation, wrote: "Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. The man on the receiving end then broke cover on Twitter and replied to say that he is Jerry Edmond and wrote briefly about the incident.
He tweeted: "I'd like to thank everyone for all the kind words . I'm the Patriots fan in the video , my name is Jerry Edmond and that was my first ever NFL game . I didn't want to ruin my experience by retaliating towards that women so I kept my cool."
Edmond spoke with Newsweek about his first live NFL experience and whether the intimidating Raiders fan spoiled the day.
"My first live experience was amazing in regards to the game," he said. "I loved how the stadium looked and felt once you were inside with everyone else. The stadium really was beautiful.
"It was great watching T-Pain perform live and being able to enjoy the halftime show with my friends. In regards to the Raiders fans, a lot of them were really nice. It was just the two that felt the need to try and intimidate me that caused me to feel on edge a bit, but besides that the game was great."

Edmond continued: "One thing I've learned is as a Black man in America dealing with a situation like that, any reactive response would result in a lose-lose situation for me.
"I didn't want to ruin my experience during my first NFL game doing something I would regret afterward. Neither did I want to ruin anyone else's day by creating a scene that wasn't needed. So I just did my best to keep my cool."
Edmond had a message for the woman, with the hope that this might be a good learning experience for her.
Edmond told Newsweek: "Only thing I can say to the woman after this has gone viral is that I'm glad I wasn't the only one that witnessed how she was behaving. I hope she understands there are not a lot of people that would've addressed the situation the same way I did and I hope she can learn and grow from this experience."

"I don't know what they're going to call this one," Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said, "but it will probably have a nickname here shortly."
With the score tied at 24-24 and time running out, most teams would have settled for overtime, on the final play, Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers tried to toss the ball back to quarterback Mac Jones, but the ball ended up in the hands of defensive end Chandler Jones, who pushed Jones to the ground and ran untouched for the touchdown and a 30-24 win.
"We were in a desperado situation," Chandler Jones said after the game. "We knew there was zero time left on the clock, and I think I saw Jakobi kind of spot up to throw it back—and I was just looking for the nearest guy, and Mac Jones was right there.
"I kind of just went up there and got it and broke a tackle and scored."
