When Netflix announced its plan to charge subscribers that share their passwords with others, they probably didn't have this scenario in mind. TikToker piablossom_x had the internet in stitches after admitting she still uses the Netflix account of a man she went on one date with—four years ago.
In a video posted on Saturday 11 June, Pia revealed how she'd ended up with a profile on "Liam's" Netflix account.
She explained: "In 2018, I was on a first date with a guy who asked me if I'd seen Stranger Things.
"I said no, I don't have Netflix. And he was like 'What? Who doesn't have Netflix?' So he made me a profile on his Netflix and then signed into it on my phone and pressed allow all devices."
Despite no second date and not seeing the man again for four years, Pia is still the only other profile on his account.

She continued: "I have not seen that man since that day, and I have dated many other men.
"But here I am, the only other profile in 2022.
"Obviously every other guy I've dated has been like 'Have my Netflix' and I'm like 'No, because you might leave, this guy, he's not going anywhere.' In some ways, this man whose number I don't even have anymore has been the most constant man in my life."
She ended her video with a message to Liam, telling him: "If you see this Liam, I am watching the new season of Stranger Things, it's really good."
Fellow TikTokers found the situation hilarious, with the post receiving over 2.2 million likes and more than 4,000 comments.
Many users suggested that Liam was "playing the long game."
"Man deserves a 2nd date surely," said Hicko11.
"Liam took his chance and left a piece of remembrance. He knows what's he's doing," wrote Kie.
While Sally commented: "Liam needs another chance! My god, he's playing the long game."

According to a 2020 study published in Psychological Science, the chance of landing a second date depends on making a positive impression, even if it's not an accurate representation of who you are.
Researchers enlisted 569 single people to take part in a speed-dating study. In just three minutes, participants underwent four to 18 short dates with a person of the opposite sex. Once the time was up, participants rated their dates on physical attractiveness and personality. Initially, participants had positive impressions of the people they met. However, when asked to compare these love interests with their ideal partner, their opinion of the people they'd just met dropped.
Still, when it comes to making a good first impression, extroverts fared significantly better than introverts. Researchers suggested that an outgoing personality may cause people to miss red flags, while introverts can be overlooked because they're "harder to read."
Although Pia didn't share much about Liam's personality, his willingness to share his Netflix account led to date requests and declarations of love from TikTokers.
"LIAM WE LOVE YOU," announced Ryan.
"If u don't date Liam I will," warned Haha.
"We stan a password sharing king. Thank you for your service Liam," said User4752540703837.
Despite no longer being in touch, some users hoped the pair might reconnect over Pia's post, with users begging her for an update. In the comments, she added: "HE FOUND THE TIKTOK hahahahha he messaged me saying he made an account just to view the comments."
Sadly, Pia has yet to reveal if date number two is finally going to happen.
