Big Brother 2022 viewers have a little longer to wait before they get the year's first eviction.
CBS has pre-empted most of this week's Big Brother so as to air the public hearings of the January 6 committee.
Big Brother Season 24 usually airs its evictions on Thursday nights, but that will not be the case this week. CBS has moved the date twice, but viewers will still get to see an eviction this week.
Here's when episodes of Big Brother are airing on CBS this week.
When Is Big Brother Airing This Week?

The Wednesday, July 20 episode of Big Brother Season 24 is running as usual, with Episode 6 of the 2022 season airing at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
It is after this, however, that things get a little mixed up. The first 2022 eviction was meant to air on Thursday, July 21, but this was then replaced in the line-up by a special titled CBS News: Capitol Assault Hearings, running from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. ET.
Initially, the plan was to air the eviction the next day (Friday, July 22) at 8 p.m., in the lead-up to the TV debut of Blood and Treasure Season 2. However, this has now been replaced in the schedule by a repeat of an episode of Blue Bloods.
So when will the first Big Brother Season 24 eviction air? Episode 7 of the show will air back-to-back with Episode 8 as part of a two-hour block of Big Brother on Sunday, July 24. These back-to-back episodes will air at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. respectively.
After that, Big Brother is expected to return to its usual Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday release calendar.
Who Is Up for Eviction on Big Brother Season 24?
WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the Wednesday, July 20 episode of Big Brother
On Episode 5 of the show (which aired July 17) new Head of Household Jasmine nominated Pooch and Taylor to be up for eliminations. This was part of Pooch's plan, with the housemate trying to get nominated as a pawn in order to backdoor Taylor.
However, the plan blew up in his face during the veto ceremony. After a conversation with Ameerah, Power of Veto holder Michael decided to betray Pooch by not vetoing his nomination. This seems to put Pooch in a very precarious position this week, but viewers will have to tune in on Sunday night to find out what goes down.
