The Denver Broncos picked up a big win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, their first win over the Chiefs since 2015.
Afterward, they were ready to serenade Travis Kelce and the Chiefs with a little advice, courtesy of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift: Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off. The singer's hit song by that name was blasted from the stadium's speakers following Denver's 24-9 victory.
The Chiefs had a disappointing afternoon. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who had never lost to the Broncos before Sunday's game, after defeating them in his 2017 debut, was dealing with a stomach bug and experienced flu-like symptoms. He finished 24-for-38 as a passer, with 241 yards (his season average is 282.3 per game). He also tossed two interceptions and no touchdowns in the loss.

"It's the worst I felt walking out of the stadium," Mahomes told reporters afterward. "It's a great environment, and I actually have a lot of fun playing here. They love the game, they know the game. But it is what it is. They beat us. They were the better football team today, and I give them their props."

As for Kelce, he finished without a touchdown, recording just 58 yards on six catches. Given that Swift wasn't in attendance, her fans might be quick to note that the tight end's lackluster performance came on the heels of a 12-catch, 175-yard performance at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium last week, when Swift was spotted in a luxury box dancing and celebrating with Mahomes' wife, Brittany.
"Five turnovers, 0-for-3 in the red zone, 17 points we gave them really off turnovers, great field position," Chiefs coach Andy Reid said after the game. "I take full responsibility for it. The guys, I saw things this afternoon that I haven't seen before from the guys. That's my responsibility, to make sure they are right. They weren't right today."
Swift might not be present at a Chiefs game again for a while, despite an open invite from Reid to be around the team "all she wants." Her Eras Tour begins its international swing on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will travel through South America for three weeks before taking a break until February. Kelce reportedly plans to visit Swift on the tour when the Chiefs are on their bye week.
First, however, Kelce will need to get his passport in order for a work trip. The AFC West– leading Chiefs (6-2) technically play a home game against the AFC East–leading Miami Dolphins (6-2) on Sunday, but the game takes place in Germany. The two teams will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET.
