Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 El Sin Nombre Safe Code

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out for everyone now, and players can jump into the game's campaign and multiplayer. While many are already learning things, like how to dolphin dive, the campaign itself is also full of secrets. One of these secrets is a special safe that you can unlock in the mission El Sin Nombre.

To unlock the safe in El Sin Nombre, players are going to need to first locate the safe and then locate the safe code for it. The safe itself can be found by locating Diego's room in El Sin Nombre. From here, look around the room for a portrait with a date written on it. The date written on the portrait is the code to the safe.

For those who want to take the easy way out, the code itself is 02-02-19. Inside the safe you'll find a piece of Plate Carrier armor as well as a silence Lockwood 300.

Once you've unlocked the safe, there isn't much else to do in Diego's room. Players should continue the mission and complete it to have successfully opened the safe in El Sin Nombre. But this isn't the only safe you'll find in the campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

You'll need to find all three of the safes across these two levels if you want to unlock the Gentleman Thief achievement (or trophy depending on your platform of choice). This achievement is needed if you want to 100 percent the game and unlock the Platinum Trophy on PlayStation consoles.

On top of unlocking this achievement, players will also find that unlocking the safes in El Sin Nombre and Alone will also reward them with some handy gear that will help them throughout the remainder of those levels.
