The funeral for beloved Migos rapper Takeoff is scheduled for Friday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Georgia residents were invited to attend the event, titled "Celebration of Life for Takeoff," but tickets quickly sold out.

Ticketholders will get to honor Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, during the public event hosted by his family. It starts at noon.

Takeoff was fatally shot last week when a dispute broke out after a dice game at a Houston bowling alley.

The arena asks that Takeoff fans who weren't able to get their tickets in time stay away from the downtown area. They also instructed people to refrain from leaving any gifts or other items around the venue.

Some who are unable to attend in person are left wondering whether they can tune into a live stream. Here's what we know about Friday's event.

Can Fans Watch the Ceremony From Home?

Unfortunately for Takeoff's fans, his celebration of life is not set to be live-streamed or broadcast to the general public. Media will also be denied entry into the arena, a Migos spokesperson wrote to Newsweek, but images from the event will be made available afterward.

Ticketholders are encouraged to arrive to the arena early; doors are scheduled to open at 11 a.m.

The webpage for the memorial specifies that there is a "strict no photo and no video policy" in place.

"Upon arrival all devices, including phones, smart watches, tablets, cameras, etc. will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event," the page reads.

What About Gifts or Flowers?

Takeoff's family is asking attendees to avoid bringing gifts or floral bouquets. Presents and arts are barred entry from the venue, as well as from the surrounding areas, for security purposes.

However, the family asks that in lieu of such items, contributions be sent to The Rocket Foundation, which was established to honor Takeoff's "life and legacy."

The first cycle of donations is going to be divided four ways, going toward groups that are aimed at "working on community-led solutions to end gun-related violence." Organizations include the Community Justice Action Fund, Live Free, H.O.P.E. Hustlers and Offenders Alumni Association.

Who's Performing?

The late rapper's funeral will reportedly feature performances from fellow celebs.

Sources told TMZ that Alicia Keys will grace the arena with a singing performance. Both she and Migos had been featured on Kanye West's most recent album.

However, a representative for Keys wrote to Newsweek that such reports were "inaccurate," and that the singer will neither perform at nor attend the event.

Keys did honor Takeoff's death in a tweet last week, though.

"This is too much.... It's like every day," she wrote on November 1. "RIP Takeoff. Sending light to your family and loved ones. We are losing too many too soon!!"

Pop prince Justin Bieber is also slated to take the stage on Friday, per TMZ. He had recorded multiple collabs with Migos, as well as with group member Quavo.

Newsweek has reached out to representatives for Keys and Bieber for comment.

Updated 11/10/22, 12:03 p.m. ET: This story has been updated to reflect that a representative for Keys said reports of her purported performance were "inaccurate." The photo has also been updated.
