Fortnite is gearing up for its annual Halloween event, which means Epic Games has started adding new skins to the in-game store. One of the newest skins to make an appearance is the Desdemona skin, which is only available for a limited time.

The Desdemona skin is one of the first spooky-type skins added to Fortnite's in-game store this month, and it's also one of the quickest to leave the store, too. Despite just dropping yesterday, October 12, the Desdemona skin is only available until the end of the night on October 13. That means users will have a very short time to grab it if they haven't yet.

The Desdemona skin can be purchased in Fortnite's in-game store. The skin itself will run for 1,200 V-Bucks: the premium currency available for purchase in Fortnite. While you can earn V-Bucks in-game, the quickest way to get your hands on enough for this purchase is going to be to buy them outright using Epic Games' in-game purchase options.

However, if you want to purchase the Desdemona skin and all of the additional items it can come with, there is a bundle called the Darkest Circles bundle available for 1,800 V-Bucks. The bundle itself will come with the base skin, the Oculara Back Bling, the Furia Harvesting Tool, the Starbright Wrap, and the Underworld Ink Loading Screen. You can also buy each piece separately, though buying the bundle will save you around 700 V-Bucks overall.

Because the Desdemona skin is set to leave Fortnite's in-game store at the daily reset time, users will only have a very limited time to grab it. The shop resets daily at 00:00 UTC, which is 7:00 p.m. EST (4 p.m. PST). Featured items like the Desdemona skin usually only last around two days or so in the in-game store, so it's not unusual to see this latest addition getting the same treatment.

With Fortnitemares 2022 set to kick off on October 18, though, it's possible the Desdemona skin will make another appearance throughout the annual Halloween event. However, that is not guaranteed. Other games, like Overwatch 2 will also offer Halloween events soon, so gamers should keep an eye out for those this month.

Gamers jumping into Fortnite right now can get the Explosive Goo Gun to take down their enemies, and players can make use of the new mantle mechanic that joined the game earlier this year to go up against all of their enemies.
