Overwatch 2: How to Change Your Crosshair

When players aren't learning all about Kiriko's abilities or trying to level up the Battle Pass, they're going to find themselves tweaking game settings and looking for more ways to customize and improve their performance and experience in Overwatch 2.

One of the best ways you can improve your experience is by customizing your crosshair. The crosshair is one of the most important components of any shooter, and having a crosshair that you can easily see, follow, and keep up with is going to be key to keeping your weapons aimed directly at enemy players.

Luckily, Overwatch 2 makes it extremely easy to customize your crosshair. Not only can you change things like the thickness, outline opacity, or even the gap between the center of the crosshair and its outer circle, but you can also customize the color and even have it toggled to show your current accuracy with that weapon.

If you're looking to improve your game, or even just challenge yourself to aim more accurately, then changing your crosshair is easy. To customize your crosshair, head into the game's menu and then select Options from the list.

Next, navigate over to the Controls tab and then select General. Make your way down the list to the Reticle option, and then select the type of reticle you want to use. There are multiple options available here, like the default, Circle, Crosshairs, Circle and Crosshairs, and Dot.

If you want to customize your crosshair beyond just changing it, you can select the + sign next to the Advanced setting underneath Reticle. Here you'll be able to siphon through various colors, change the thickness of your crosshair, and even change the opacity of the crosshair itself––as well as the opacity of the crosshair's outline.

If you're using the Dot option, you can also change the size of the dot, adjust the opacity of the dot, and even toggle it to scale with your monitor's resolution.

All of these settings allow you to really change up how your crosshair and reticle look, which can be handy for users who are having a hard time aiming or using the default options set in Overwatch 2 when you start the game.

With Overwatch 2's Halloween event coming up, players will also want to make sure they've claimed their free Legendary skin, which is available until early December as an apology for the long queue times and other performance issues the game has experienced thus far.
