Halloween is only a little more than a week away, and there are several deals up for grabs already in honor of the spooky season. So whether you're an Italian ice fanatic or a cookie lover, Newsweek has compiled a list to get your holiday celebration off to a stronger start.

Jeremiah's Italian Ice is offering a free small ice or gelati for anyone in costume from 5 p.m. until closing on Halloween night. You can also get a premium layer-in and flavorite for just 99 cents, with no purchase necessary.

That's not all you can look forward to at the Italian ice shop, though.

Three new festive Flavorites are launching across stores, including the Franken Frog, Vampire Bite and Witch Brew with Mystery Ice.

The Franken Frogg features mint chocolate chip ice and chocolate ice cream, made even more decadent by an Oreo cookie crumble layer-in. Those looking for a fruitier flavor can get that in the Vampire Bite, which includes strawberry ice and vanilla ice cream with a chocolate chip and chocolate sprinkle layer-in.

Those who like to be a little bit more adventurous can grab the Witch's Brew because it has a mystery flavor with a vanilla ice cream and rainbow sprinkle layer-in.

Cookie fans will also be excited to take advantage of Insomnia Cookies' Halloween deal, which allows shoppers to get a free classic cookie when they stop by the store in costume. The deal is in effect from October 27 until Halloween.

You can also scoop up $20 20 packs in store and via delivery through Halloween. Insomnia's Trick or Treat Pack also features 50 classic cookies, individually wrapped, for just $75, and it could easily make a solid Halloween party treat.

Insomnia also made sure to bring some new flavors to its fall lineup, and they are ideal for the Halloween holiday.

The Candy Apple classic features classic sugar cookie dough with toffee pieces, dried apples, Hershey's Kisses and M&M minis. The Reese's Peanut Butter Filled Deluxe cookie is also a trick or treater's favorite, including Hershey's Dark Chocolate dough mixed with mini Reese's peanut butter chips and filled with Reese's peanut butter. Other options include the Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Classic, which is a sweet and salty dessert with chocolate chunks, caramel nuggets, and chocolate covered pretzel pieces.

Or, go the cake route and get the Moon Cookie Cake, which comes with two Classic cookie flavors, your choice of decorative icing, and an optional message applied with buttercream icing and toppings.

Another Halloween party cake is the Happy Halloween Cookie Cake, which has one classic flavor and your choice of decorative icing. The Late Nightmare Snack Cookie Cake has one classic flavor and your choice of decorative icing, plus a Late Nightmare Snack cake center.

Those who use Grubhub will also get some special savings this Halloween. From October 26 until November, Grubhub+ diners will be able to redeem a range of special deals that could come in handy for stocking up on candy for trick-or-treaters, catering a Halloween dinner party or grabbing a late-night snack after the Halloween festivities are over.

For those looking to order candy, 7 Eleven is offering $10 off all orders of more than $20.

For many, pizza will be the food of choice this Halloween night, and fortunately for shoppers on Grubhub, Papa John's will be offering 30 percent off orders of more than $30.

But those hankering for a burger are in luck too. If ordering Burger King this Halloween, shoppers will enjoy a free Ghost Pepper Whopper when they spend more than $20 on Grubhub.

The Ghost Pepper Whopper is a seasonal Halloween menu item that features a standard Whopper patty with bacon, jalapenos, queso sauce and ghost pepper cheese. To bring it all together, guests get an orange Whopper bun covered in black sesame seeds.

According to Grubhub, hot dogs were the most ordered food item on Halloween 2022, with pepperoni pizza and cold Italian sandwiches coming up next in terms of popular items. Reese's, Twix, Kit Kat, and Snickers also were ordered at high rates, making chocolate candies some of the more popular trick or treating choices.
