The idea of walking down the aisle, exchanging vows and marrying the love of your life is usually an exciting, heart-fluttering thought for most people. But for the cast of Married at First Sight, saying "I do" is the most nerve-wracking experience of their lives, primarily because they're marrying a complete stranger.

A new set of individuals will make the leap into marriage on the 11th season of the Lifetime reality show on July 15. But before they reach the altar and introduce themselves to their respective mates, viewers will meet them first in the Married at First Sight (MAFS) Matchmaking Special on Wednesday.

Along with a glimpse of how each of the 10 cast members were living their lives before tying the knot, fans of the show will get an in-depth look at how MAFS relationship experts Viviana Coles, Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Cal Roberson paired each of the New Orleans–based couples.

The grooms—Bennet, Woody, Brett, Henry and Miles—will break the news of their upcoming nuptials to their buddies while the brides—Amelia, Amani, Olivia, Christina and Karen—shock their family members with wedding announcements.

From the looks of the Season 11 sneak peek (above), not everyone will be as supportive of the newlyweds' decision to marry someone they've never actually met. When Karen reveals her surprise wedding plans to her relatives, her mother asks, "Have you lost your mind?"

Later in the clip, when Karen is hesitant about going through with the wedding while trying on wedding dresses, her mother tells her that she doesn't have to go through with the marriage. "Honey you can change your mind at any time," Karen's mother says.

Meanwhile, the wedding day jitters are in full swing for Amani.

"I'm feeling nervous now. I'm feeling anxious. I'm just ready to be in love," she says.

She's not alone. Woody, the man the relationship experts have paired her with, is equally nervous about marrying a complete stranger. And when he starts feeling a case of cold feet coming on, his mother also assures him that "it's not too late to turn around."

Nerves won't get the best of everyone though. Some of the brides and grooms appear to be thrilled to finally meet the person they'll spend the rest of their life with.

"My future is 20 feet away, and I'm just ready to see his face," Olivia says in the sneak peek.

Christina is ready to get this show on the road too.

"I am so ready to be a wife. Let's just do it. I want to meet him. I'm so ready," she said in a confessional video.

Meet all the MAFS Season 11 cast members before they tie the knot when the Matchmaking Special airs on Lifetime on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
