Did Natalia Grace's Parents Go to Jail? What Happened to the Barnetts

I was late to watch The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks on HBO Max. (If you don't know, it's about an orphaned Ukrainian girl taken in by a family who believes she's actually older than she is, and a lot of other crazy things). Everything about this documentary was insane, from the story to the people involved. Quite literally... bonkers. So, it was only a matter of a time before it got the TV movie treatment, and now it's here with Hulu's Good American Family starring Ellen Pompeo.

I'll be real with you, I don't know what to make of this story. While it seems like Grace suffered significant abuse, there also seems to be a reality TV element involved here. Like people acting out in order to squeeze out that 15 minutes of fame. And while Good American Family is very good (particularly Pompeo and Mark Duplass as the adopting parents of Grace), as I watch it, I can't help but think, "Am I just participating in the ongoing saga of this performative reality show?" Like this TV movie will inspire another season of The Curious Case, just watch. (And duh, I definitely will be watching).

Are you watching? What do you think? Let me know at @HAlanScott on everything.

That's it for me today. Keep scrolling for my chat with Survivor's Bianca Roses, who just got voted off this week. (She did a last-minute move that shocked me). I'll see you Monday!

Hulk Hogan's Daughter Makes Disturbing Allegations Against Her Parents

Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke Oleksy, is a new mother to twins — but the babies' maternal grandparents won't be meeting them anytime soon. The 36-year-old has revealed that she isn't talking to either one of her parents — for harrowing reasons that she outlined in a seven-slide social media post.

In light of the Hogan family drama reaching a boiling point, Brooke published her allegations to Instagram on Thursday night, March 27. The writing first addresses a video that mom Linda Hogan posted to Facebook (and published by Page Six after Linda apparently deleted it) earlier that day in which she sobs and claims that Brooke hasn't talked to either her mom or dad for almost eight years. She finishes the video by saying that her other child, son Nick, 34, "is still such a good boy."
