Eric Dane Announces ALS Diagnosis, Kenya Moore Drama

If you're anything like me, you're still recovering from Carrie Coon's monologue in that last episode of The White Lotus. While that's been on my mind, I've also been obsessing over a few other things this week.

First things first, I'm so glad HBO delivered the new season of Hacks right after the finale of The White Lotus, because we needed it. (Well, at least I did). The first two episodes of Season 4 are streaming now on HBO Max... Have you been following this Kenya Moore drama on Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta? The reality star shared intimate photos of another cast member and got kicked off the rest of the season. (But not fired, according to her). It's a wild story... Elton John and Madonna have finally ended their decades-long feud. In fact, Madonna says John wrote a song for her. This is healing... The Academy Awards will finally honor stunt performers. This has been years in the making, and I'm glad to see these hard-working performers get the recognition they deserve. I'm just worried they'll hurt themselves before picking up the award... And finally, former Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane announced his ALS diagnosis. "I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter," he told People magazine. The actor is currently filming HBO's Euphoria. Wishing him and his family all the best.

That's it for me today. Have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday with more. Keep scrolling for my chats with the latest Survivor players who got voted out. (Yes, plural "players").

Who is Jillian Lauren? Wife of Weezer Bassist Scott Shriner Shot by Police

By Megan Cartwright

Jillian Lauren, a bestselling author and the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot by Los Angeles police and later booked for attempted murder.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said Lauren emerged from her home with a handgun during an active search for suspects involved in a freeway hit-and-run following a police chase that spilled into her Eagle Rock neighborhood. After allegedly refusing to comply with commands to drop the weapon and pointing it at officers, police opened fire, striking her in the shoulder.

Initially taken into custody and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, Lauren was later booked in absentia for attempted murder. She was not involved in the original hit-and-run incident that triggered the police response, according to law enforcement authorities.
